Upper eyelid lift refers to the tightening and treatment of drooping slippery eyelids on the upper part of the eyelid. Slippery eyelids appear as a form of aging, as well as a result of lack of sleep, regular smoking and an overall unhealthy lifestyle.

By an upper eyelid correction, the tissue is tightened again. During the surgical procedure, the excess skin, but also fat and muscle tissue, which cause the eyelid lowering, is removed and the remaining skin is finally sutured.
The operation is performed on an outpatient basis and takes about 1-3 hours.
All examination reports, blood results, discharge reports will be handed over to you upon your discharge. You will be looked after by our team for 1 year (on request also longer), so that you always have a contact person at home by phone. Before and after the operation, you always have an escort at your bedside who speaks your language. You can take a person with you to Turkey as an accompaniment. Accommodation and care in the hospital will be provided.
Eyelid surgery is a procedure performed under local anesthesia that carries out a low risk during surgery and, in rare cases, leads to complications. Possible side effects include hematomas, swelling, dryness or temporary sensations on the edge of the eyelid, which may occur in the first few days after eyelid surgery.
After eyelid surgery, we recommend our patients to rest for at least 1 week. Heavy physical work and sports activities should be avoided for at least 3 weeks.
