During a rhinoplasty, our surgeons in Turkey make various changes to the nose. The reasons for an intervention on the nose are usually aesthetic wishes. Then the rhinoplasty is carried out as a “cosmetic operation”. But also people in whom the shape of the nose makes breathing difficult are among our patients. Sometimes the difficulty on breathing is the result of an injury or an accident, but sometimes also the result of the congenital shape of the nose. During a procedure, the surgeon can improve the functional disability while taking into account cosmetic aspects.

The surgical procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis and takes about 1.5 – 2.5 hours. The operation is usually performed under general anesthesia and, depending on the case, can be performed inpatient (up to 4 days) or outpatient. The incision is made in the nose, so no scars are visible from the outside.
